Herrmann wins Player of the Week for the third time in a month after he scored a pair of goals for four points in a 2-0-0 week for No. 3 SNHU. Herrmann scored the lone goal in Wednesday's 1-0 blanking of Saint Michael's and then opened the scoring in the 18th minute of a 2-1 win at AIC on Saturday.?
NE10 Defensive Player of the Week
Inigo Iriarte, SNHU
Junior | Defense I Pamplona, Esp.
Iriarte led a defensive unit that limited opponents to one goal in a 2-0-0 week for No. 3 SNHU. The Penmen allowed just seven shots, including three on goal, in a 1-0 shutout of Saint Michael's on Wednesday and then gave up nine shots – three more on target – in Saturday's 2-1 victory at American Int'l.
NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week
Garrett Smith, Saint Michael's
Senior | Gorham, Maine
Smith allowed only one goal last week while turning in a 0.50 GAA, .917 save percentage and 5.5 saves per game. Saint Michael's lost 1-0 to third-ranked Southern New Hampshire on Wednesday, when Smith made five saves and yielded only a 15th-minute marker. He had another six stops in a 2-0 win at Adelphi on Saturday.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Diego Flores, SCSU
Freshman | Goalkeeper | Nesonset, N.Y.
Flores posted back-to-back shutouts in a pair of wins against Pace and Assumption. Against the Setters, Flores turned back the lone shot he faced and followed with a pair of saves against Assumption. For the year, Flores is 2-0-1 with a 0.67 GAA and a 0.867 save percentage in three NE10 games.
